What is there to say about four women,
strangers to each other, sitting together, staring
at computers.
I wish we would stare with that dedication
into each other's faces. To learn them.
Isn't that what this is all about?
Making things less strange?
(One of us throws her hands to her ears
when the construction machines sound,
it is such a fearful, immediate gesture..)
